What is Continuous Laundry System?
This washing equipment is specially designed and developed to handle large-capacity laundry. It has many names such as Tunnel Washer System, Continuous Batch Washer, Continuous Machine, and Continuous Washing Machine.
- As the name suggests, there is a continuous bath inside the metal tunnel. Laundry moves from one end to the other automatically, going through every step of laundry process – washing, rinsing, extraction and drying.

Continuous washing machine of JENSEN GROUP combines the advantages of a simple and solid "single drum" & energy-efficient "double drum" to provide both solidity and energy efficiency.
The best part of JENSEN’s Continuous washing machine is that you can wash white laundry right after colored ones.
In the past, the water flow and the laundry flow were opposite. This means there’s always a risk of discoloration when washing white laundry right after colored ones. Impossible to optimize the operation.
But thanks to unique technology, the color of laundry is not a problem anymore in JENSEN’s Continuous washing machine. This means better productivity, less energy consumption.
The inner drum is made with patented “eccentric helix” structure: no shaft for rotation. So you can use the drum in full capacity, with larger rotation angle and drop width. This leads to better quality of outcome.

WATER EXTRACTION PRESS / CENTRIFUGAL EXTRACTOR
Hydraulic press / Centrifugal extractor
After washing and rinsing through Continuous washing machine, the laundry is automatically put into the "hydraulic press/centrifugal extractor" via a basket-like transfer chute.
- The concept of Hydraulic press is to squeeze out the water by pressing the laundry with a rubber-cushioned cylinder.
- You can fine-tune the pressure of the press depending on the type of laundry. Fast extraction is possible without laundry damage or deformation.
- Made with stainless steel, hydraulic press of JENSEN GROUP can be used more hygienically.
- Patented ‘Top-Drain System’ is designed to allow water from the extraction process to flow into the recovery tank or directly into the rinsing process of the continuous washing machine.
- Press basket at the center is made of stainless steel, able to avoid damage or deformation of the laundry. Photo sensor detects laundry jams, and measuring instrument checks proper operation range.
- The pusher is made of stainless steel, which gives better durability. And the press machine has equipped with safety guard doors, enabling safe and efficient operation.
- Centrifugal extractor is another type of extraction equipment. The concept is to remove water from laundry by using centrifugal force, rotating the drum at high speed.
- When washed laundry from continuous washing machine gets into the drum, the drum starts rotating, gradually increasing G-force.
- As the use of continuous washing system increases(for productivity and cost reduction), the centrifugal extractor gets more attention because when compared to hydraulic press, it can process the extraction with more delicacy, being able to handle more various types of laundry.
- By minimizing the imbalance of the drum rotation, Centrifugal Extractor of JENSEN GROUP can complete extraction process within a short period of time with high G-force.
- Instead of the support connected to the drum, hydraulic cushion has been applied. This allows the drum to be completely separated from the frame. Able to rotate at high speed regardless of vibration and impact on the floor.
- Thanks to this technology developed & patented by JENSEN GROUP, extraction time can be significantly reduced compared to other equipment.

TRANSFER DRYER
Transfer Dryer
Transfer dryer is used to dry the laundry after the extraction. The program cycle can be preset.
Features of Transfer dryer of JENSEN GROUP
- Can be used independently, without other equipment of the continuous washing system. - Designed to save space, can be placed symmetrically in a set of 2 units. - User can choose from various heating methods – Steam, Gas, Oil. - Excellent quality of outcome, with low energy consumption.
- To reduce drying time, other manufacturers make punching holes big. But in this case, laundry may get stuck and accessories(buttons, zippers, etc.) can be damaged.
- JENSEN GROUP applied small and precise punching holes to minimize damage to the laundry.
- Double input/discharge doors, Triple-covered checking windows, and insulated external drum made it possible to minimize heat loss.
- With air recirculation damper(optional), you can recycle the heat generated during drying. Able to reduce drying time and energy consumption.
- Unlike blowing method of other manufacturers, dryer of JENSEN GROUP uses tilting function to discharge laundry perfectly.
