Flatwork Roller Ironing System is a series of equipment for pre and post processing of drying and ironing large linen laundry.
- Large laundry(sheets, duvet covers, etc.) in hotels, resorts, hospitals, etc. has length in average about 2,500 ~ 3,000mm or more. Requires a lot of labour and time to iron and fold manually.
- Flatwork Roller Ironing System is designed to reduce time, labour and energy consumption of the process dramatically.
- JENSEN GROUP has years of experience and high level technology in this system. JENSEN GROUP offers a wide range of equipment for the system to laundry market.
- There is a wide variety of equipment for drying and ironing large laundry. The most common components are feeder, roller ironer, folder and stacker.
- Components of Flatwork Roller Ironing System can be changed according to the user environment and various conditions, and can be operated interchangeably or individually.
FEEDER
FEEDER
After washing and extraction process, linen laundry gets tangled and intertwined. Feeder unfolds the tangled large linen laundry and puts them into the roller ironer automatically.
- With feeder, you can see a big difference in productivity and labor operation.
- Using the feeder, 3~4 operators can put sheets into the feeder at the same time.
- In every station, the inlet has two clamps to hold the linen. Once operator puts linen into the clamps, they open the linen. And through the conveyor, feeder feeds the linen into the roller ironer automatically.
- Direct manual feeding into the roller ironer is possible. But it requires 2 operators to hold the both ends of the linen and put it into the roller ironer.
- With JENSEN GROUP's feeder, user can easily switch from large mode(for sheet, duvet cover, etc) to small mode(for tableclothes, etc).
- Also the feeder of JENSEN GROUP features a photocell sensor for automatic operation, a height-adjustable Clamp, and a vacuum function at the inlet, allowing a greater variety of laundry to be quickly injected into the Roller Ironer to increase productivity.

Roller Ironer
Roller Ironer is designed to iron large size laundry with high pressure and heat, using rotating rolls and hot plates. Mainly used to dry and iron bedding (sheet covers, sheet toppers, duvet covers, pillow cases, etc.) from hotels, resorts and hospitals.
- Roller Ironer of JENSEN GROUP has been researched & developed over a long period of time to maximize moisture evaporation in laundry.
- For optimal heat transfer, JENSEN GROUP incorporates a thin, flexible, carbon steel chest into Roller Ironer rather than thick chest used in the past.
- This Chest operates in close contact with Roller as if it were Band-Brake.
- The vertically applied Roller pressure also allows the side of the Chest to be flexibly attached to Roller, increasing the area where the laundry touches Roller (the area that touches the iron plate), providing a greater ironing effect and ensuring uniform quality and high productivity for various thicknesses of laundry.
- In addition, the Flexible Chest of JENSEN GROUP is made of durable and thermally conductive carbon steel, minimizing friction with laundry, and heating the Chest faster than traditional methods, reducing energy use, such as time and fuel, while increasing productivity.
- In addition, Roller Ironer of JENSEN GROUP allows you to iron different types of laundry faster with a separate exhaust control system that keeps each roll in a vacuum state, automatic pressure control and height control via air cylinders on each side, planetary gear mounted on each roll, and a solid & stable roll.

FOLDER & STACKER
Folders & Stackers
After being ironed, laundry gets folded in the folder. And the stacker stacks folded laundry. Both folder and stacker work according to user setting.
- You can select the program at the feeder, and the entire system runs automatically.
- Folder and Roller Ironer are linked, so the work speed of the folder can be automatically adjusted depending on the work speed of roller ironer(which varies according to the type of laundry).
- The transfer belt between roller ironer and folder has a function that prevents the ironed laundry from being slipped or moved to a wrong position. (Controlled by a program)
- Through a sandwich-like conveyor belt and a pinch roll, laundry gets folded with air blast and folding blades.
- Folded laundry gets transferred to the bottom of the folder and dropped. When reached the pre-set number, stacked laundry gets transferred to discharge conveyor.
